Who runs ShareBox
This ShareBox instance is run by Guido Marmorini, the controller of the data described on this page. Contact: guidomarmorini@gmail.com.
What data we process
- Google account data, received when you sign in with Google: name, email address, account identifier and, for Google Workspace business accounts, the organization's domain. We don't ask for access to any other data in your Google account (mail, files, contacts, calendar).
- Session cookies, technical and needed to keep you signed in. We don't use profiling, advertising or analytics cookies.
- Data entered in tools: what you write in a tool is stored in that tool's data space.
- Activity log: for security we record who publishes, changes, shares or deletes a tool, with date and time.
- Technical logs of server errors and operation, which may include IP addresses.
Why we process it
- To let you open the tools shared with you and check that you are allowed to.
- To make tools work: each tool receives your name and email, so it can show you your data.
- For the security of the service and to detect abuse or malfunctions.
The legal basis is the performance of the service you request when you open a tool, and the legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure.
Data entered in tools
Each tool is created and managed by a person (the tool's creator), who decides what data it collects and who to share it with. For the data you enter in a tool, the tool's creator is the controller and ShareBox stores it on their behalf. For questions about that data, contact whoever shared the tool with you.
Each tool's data is kept separate from other tools: a tool cannot read another tool's data.
Where it is stored

A daily backup copy, encrypted before it leaves the server, is kept for 30 days on Google Drive (Google): without the keys, which stay with the operator, its content cannot be read. We don't sell data, use it for advertising or pass it to third parties, except where required by law.
How long
- Your account data stays as long as you use ShareBox; you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
- A tool's data is deleted when its creator deletes the tool.
- The activity log and technical logs are kept as long as needed for the security of the service.
Use of data received from Google
Use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a copy of it, by writing to guidomarmorini@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
